You make so many great jokes and puns about dogs. I was wondering if you had any and if so what kind they are?

Hey George. A great question!
Yes, I've had dogs most of my adult life. My mom wasn't a big fan and the few times we tried to get a dog she put an end to it.
My most recent dog was Tobi. A rescue dog that was "mostly" American Foxhound, but also seemed like he might have some greyhound in him. Unfortunately, he passed in March (something we are still grieving over). He lived a good life, 11 years, and the last few were on our "land in the valley" which provided amble room for running around and also the opportunity to bark at cows to "brush them back" from roadsides and our fence line - something he enjoyed immensely.
Right now we have Ruth at our house. She is technically a 'Grand puppy' as she is owned by my daughter, but she spends a lot of time with me and Robin. She is also a rescue dog hound and as I said a puppy - so she woke me up late last night to go out. She sleeps too much during the day!! Something we are trying to reverse.
Before Tobi as Penny - a rescue dog that was mostly labrador but also some other things as she was quite small. Before her was Dutchess - a Cocker Spaniel.

I just finished the Riyria Revelations after a mad bout of speed reading and I absolutely loved it. It would really mean a lot to have a couple answers by the author. 1. Whatever happened to the necklace and copy that Marius had made and why was that thread left unresolved or did I miss it in my hurry to get to the end of the book? 2. Did you purposely not reveal what Melinda's mother did with Royce and his medallion?

Thanks! I've been pulled towards marketing my first book so much this week (launch week), and I'm missing the time writing book #2. You're answer up top just gave me permission! 10% of my time seems about right for the marketing. Besides, I know what I'm doing as a writer....marketing is a whole other ball game. I may need to outsource? Any thoughts on that?

Hi, I recently just finished Heir of Novron, and I was wondering if you explained the situation with Degan Gaunt getting the silver medallion and why he received it?
After finishing it, I was just wondering if it was ever explained. Thank you!
