What inspired you to write your book "Dark Inside"? How did you, in the course of penning it, keep it from becoming another clichéd apocalypse novel?
Dark Inside is based on a series of reoccurring dreams I used to have as a teenager. When I was developing the idea, I knew I wanted to try something different.I've always been fascinated by sociology and why people behave certain ways in groups. And I love zombie stories, but I wanted to try and make it scarier. So I came up with the idea of a zombie type setting, yet they kept their intelligence. To me, that's scary.
