Sophia Somehow... But if you'll read the second book, more mysteries would be uncovered and purgation of emotions. I promise, you'll love it.
This answer contains spoilers… (view spoiler)[Sort of. It's a continuation of what was set up in the first book, so many of the plot points are the same. But, there are, obviously, some differences. You see Jude a lot more, and it deals with Mara's PTSD more. Noah and Mara still have their thing though, and they are still trying to find out what is going on with them. So I'd say it's similar, but not the same. (In my opinion, it's even better!) (hide spoiler)]
Kylie The second book was even better than the first. There's not as much action as the first, but there is a lot of psychological things that happen to Mara. It's insane. More mysteries are solved in the second book, but even more arise, so you are still left wanting more. The next book really ups the creepy. I remember being so scared I put the book down.
