Do you have any advice for authors out there on how to go about getting reviews? What worked for you and what didn't? Also, when can we expect another awesome book from you?

Honestly, marketing is such a circus that's it's impossible to offer good advice without knowing what genre, platform, publisher, etc. you're working with. Moreover, I'm probably not the best person to ask. As traditional publishing goes, 5k reviews on Goodreads doesn't impress anybody much. That's not a complaint, just a little slice of truth to provide some perspective. So this is a conversation to have with your publicist. (If you're self-publishing you might consider hiring a publicist, because they will be better equipped to answer this question than I am. If I knew the secret to getting reviews, there would be many more of them.)
As for future work, my agent and I are working on one manuscript together and I'm about halfway through the first draft of another. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees in publishing, so we don't know if or when either of them will be slated for publication. However, I will be sure to share that news when I have it, so if you're following me here or on other social media, you'll be the first to know.

Hi, I just wanted to say that you kind of changed my life. I had not read a single word of Shakespeare my whole life before, I didn’t even know the plot to any of the plays. After reading IWWV I kinda loved it and just had to try some. Now, I’m so in love with Shakespeare going into my 9th play in like 2 months and I just have you to thank for that! With that in mind I was wondering, what is your favorite play?

In my eyes you let the character be quite open about their sexuality. Though, in that time era, it wasn't that favored to talk about it, right? Why did you choose to let them be so open about it (which I really loved though!) instead of timid and closeted?
