Goodreads asked Larry Boyer:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Larry Boyer I was attending the Novus Summit at the United Nations in July 2016 when my ideas on the 4th Industrial Revolution, automation and their impacts on people all came together. I was inspired to up level my own thinking on having an impact on people using my gifts for connecting the dots to form the big picture and then taking it to the level where it made a difference to individual people. There were many great speakers, each experts in their corner of the world - Dr. Greg Reid, Peter Diamandis, astronaut Scott Papastronaut Scott Parazynski, Antarctic scientist and activist Robert Swan, Oxford research scientist and primatologist Isabel Behncke Izquierdo and many others.

There are a lot of books that talk about megatrends, personal development, economic history, AI and robots. My aim here is to put it all together so the reader can see what is unfolding, how it is similar and different from the past and to be able to take actions themselves to succeed and not be displaced. Of course, it's only a book as as such it's a starting point for successfully navigating disruption.
