At the end of the Netflix episode of Nanette, you can see a book called Pablo Picasshole, supposedly by Hannah Gadsby. Does anyone know if said book exists?

Jonilee I wish, haha; I would’ve loved to read it :’)
Julie Ehlers No, all of the books at the end of Nanette are fake books with titles that are riffs on what she talks about on the show.
Marybeth I saw a copy of 'The Great Believers' on her side table. It's the middle book.
Aemin If you speak french, there is a very good feminist podcast about art history, called "Vénus s'épilait-elle la chatte?" (literally : Did Venus wax her pussy?)
And they did a very good episode on Picasso which, if Hannah really wrote Pablo Picasshole, would probably come close to the content of this book. It's about how much of a piece of shit Picasso was, not just with Marie-Thérèse, but with all the women and children in his life.

sensei Oddsox After reading Ten Steps to Nannette by Hannah Gadsby I was also curious about the books. As already stated, the books aren’t real, but references to the show… However, I found this book about the cover-up and real story of Picasshole on Amazon,
Picasso and Marie-Thérèse Walter: The Censored Story by Marc Poissant
from blurb in Amazon:
“… This book tries to resuscitate some of Marie-Thérèse's cancelled narrative, as it also tries to unveil the roots and the mechanism of an old disinformation campaign, complete with cover-up, formerly under Picasso's strict control-later under that of his heirs after he passed away in 1973. The scholars and the museums too have known about this hoax for well over a decade now. Regrettably, however, ever since I published my study in 2009, a shabby posture has consistently prevailed within the Picasso intelligentsia: video et taceo, see and keep silent.”
