Johnna asked Kasie West:

During the writing and editing process do you ever get bored reading certain sections of your story? Is it because that part is actually boring or is it because you've read it so many times/you know what happens because you've written it. I'm struggling with my own writing and not knowing if it's good enough.

Kasie West If there are scenes in my writing that I'm bored with on my second or third read, then I know I need to do something different. If there are scenes I'm bored with after my tenth+ read then yes, I usually chalk it up to the fact that I've read the book so much. The true test is having someone else read it and mark down the passages where they were bored. That's super helpful and I recommend it. But I think most writers struggle with feeling like our writing isn't good enough. It's a battle. So just keep pushing forward and try your hardest to get past your self doubts when you're writing. Try to find the joy in the process. Good luck!
