During the writing and editing process do you ever get bored reading certain sections of your story? Is it because that part is actually boring or is it because you've read it so many times/you know what happens because you've written it. I'm struggling with my own writing and not knowing if it's good enough.
Kasie West
If there are scenes in my writing that I'm bored with on my second or third read, then I know I need to do something different. If there are scenes I'm bored with after my tenth+ read then yes, I usually chalk it up to the fact that I've read the book so much. The true test is having someone else read it and mark down the passages where they were bored. That's super helpful and I recommend it. But I think most writers struggle with feeling like our writing isn't good enough. It's a battle. So just keep pushing forward and try your hardest to get past your self doubts when you're writing. Try to find the joy in the process. Good luck!

Hi Kasie, huge fan, I own all of your books, reread them regularly. As I’ve perused some FAQs, I’ve seen people mention bonus scenes for some of your books, and would love to be able to read them. Especially for PS. I Like You, By Your Side, and Pivot Point/Split Second. They are my favorites! Plus you have an uncanny ability to write the most swoon-worthy male characters. Is there any way to get my hands on them?

Hi, Kasie! I adore your characters and I love your books! I've read almost all (currently reading Split Second), I noticed that you mentioned a girl dancing ballet in both On The Fence and The Distance Between Us. Is this by chance the same girl? And will we ever know this dancing girl's story? :) P.S. Can't wait for your next book!
