Hi! Three Dark Crowns is one of my all time favourite books and I was wondering, do you have any plans for Braddock in One Dark Reign and the untitled fourth novel? He was one of my favourite characters!

Braddock the bear will make appearances in both books 3 and 4. I have no specific plans for him though, as in true bear fashion, he does what he wants. I hope he makes it.

With the king consorts in TDC did they have any actual responsibilities/powers and what were they? (As in the oracle novella the king consort seemed to be more like an accessory) Also, as I’m assuming the king consorts home kingdoms were patriarchal unlike the island, why did so many of them go to be suitors when they were essentially giving up their chances to raise any kids/heirs to carry on their family name?
