Will we need to read this to understand future series(TLH and TWP)? Or is this something on the side?

Laura Parts of the story will probably link up but TWP take place after the events of at least the first book in the Eldest Curses trilogy as it takes place…moreParts of the story will probably link up but TWP take place after the events of at least the first book in the Eldest Curses trilogy as it takes place just after City of Glass and TWP part one will be set after TDA. TLH takes place before City of Bones (after CP2) and so it'll likely have more to do with that and those characters. Most of the links will likely be more easter eggs than anything else.(less)
