Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Sasha Leigh The idea for my most recent books (working on two simultaneously) came from a dream - or that state between being asleep and awake. Sometimes a story idea will come from something I've passed while driving, a picture I've seen or made, or seeing/reading about an object e.g. "crystals".

The most dominant source of ideas (other than dreams) for me is while I am researching or reading about magical creatures, magic, folklore, etc. I use a lot of sticky notes, carry a notebook in my purse so I can jot something down, and have been known to record ideas in my phone's voice recording app so that I don't forget a scene or idea.
