It is not the destination that matters, it is the journey to get there. Just because someone says an apple pie tastes good, it's not the same as just...eating it.
This can be applied to any movie or book. Spoilers ruin the "shock" but it does not spoil the joy. Knowing how it exactly happens is just as important, and I find that as experience the work, I forget the spoiler as I become engrossed with the story.

Yes continue with the series. I think I know which characters death you spoiled for yourself and honestly, I spoiled this characters death for myself as well. Definitely continue the series though because honestly its so worth it to finish even if you had a certain characters death spoiled for you.
