Anne Washington asked this question about The Castaways (Nantucket, #2):
Should I read the island by Elin Hilderbrand before the castaways?

With that being said, have you read "A Summer Affair" which is tree first in the Nantucket series out of the 3? If not, I would start there to get more info in the characters in the series. I find it always helps me but some people just like to dive into whatever book and not follow the series where I tend to like ti read in order. I've actually read books out of order and gone back to read them in the order they were written like Karin Slaughter's 'Grant County' series etc. After you read The Castaways the next book is "The Perfect Couple" which I just got and will read on my way to our hometown 600 miles away. I'm curious to see who this couple is and I don't want to spoil the 2nd book of you haven't read it yet. So far this is another great series. I love Elin's books and I'll usually read hers through until mid-July and then onto James Patterson's WomensMurder Club book that came out that year in April/May (they tend to come out around Mothers Day and it's one thing my kids have gotten me as a gift since 2010 as with my various surgeries and being laid up I have begun to read a lot and started with his books along with Karin Slaughter, Nancy Thayer & of course Elin ❤️ Enjoy your reads :) Hope uh enjoy add much as I did/d I. 28 Summers and Golden Girl are next up.
