I just finished For The Immortal and I loved it so much! MIght be my fav read of the year so far. Do you think when learning ancient history in school there should be more attention to the position of women?

Thanks so much for being in touch, Frederique! I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed For the Immortal. I certainly think there should be more attention paid to women in the ancient world in school (and university) teaching – that's a big part of what motivated me to write the Golden Apple trilogy in the first place. It's also something I focus on in my own teaching at the university level, and I try to give talks at schools too so I can introduce students to the stories and experiences of the women of the ancient world.
