How do you deal with writer’s block?

Ramie Wolf I don't, at least not very well. Before I published Nights of Sin, I was stuck in a dead-end job that sucked the life out of me for 8 years. For about 2-3 of those years, I didn't write. At all. I thought about my writing, continued to scheme and plot, but couldn't put anything down. Once I realized what the underlying cause of my problem was, I finally decided I couldn't continue to work at a job that would only make me miserable. So I quit, and 6 months later published Nights of Sin.
