Edward asked Chris Bohjalian:

I have read most of your books and an looking forward to reading The Flight Attendant. Which of your books did you find difficult to wright?

Chris Bohjalian Thanks, Edward! The most difficult of my books to write was THE DOUBLE BIND. Why? Because I knew the ending when I started. Over the years, I've had no idea where all of my other books were going, and so I depended upon my characters to take me by the hand and lead me through the dark of the story. THE DOUBLE BIND was a different because I knew the final sentence. It's a short novel, but it still took me three years to write it.
