Hi!! Oh yay! I'm so happy to hear you liked my Forbidden Men! They're definitely my most popular series, which is cool. I love that. And I spent the most time on them since there are nine books already with them, so they're the most familiar and comfortable to me, but you know, I don't know about favorites. I guess each one is different and holds a special place with me. I just can't choose between my babies!!! LOL! With the Tommy Creek siblings and Kindcaid/Banks cousin books, I wrote those before I was ever published, so I'd say they were learning books, where I experimented with plotting and just, you know, the writing process in general. So they helped me fall in love with story telling to bein with, which make them special. For the Forbidden Men gang, I kind of focused on experimenting with different characters and personalities, seeing if I could make noticeable distinctions between people. For the Granton University books, I looked at focusing most on emotional impact and a character's inner journey, which took a little more soul out of me to write, but I wouldn't say they were the hardest. Then, for the fairy tale books, I was in a bit of a funk, depressed-wise, and my self image was way down, so those helped me escape or...I don't know what they did, but through writing them, I was able to feel better about myself, which made them important. And then, with the first Love Mark book, I needed an even bigger escape right after my mom died, so I'm really grateful for that book. So far, the hardest one to write is actually The Price of Mason. I'm still working it on now, and it feels as if I've been working on it FOREVER, probably because I've been procrastinating for a few years. I've come to learn that I write to get a story out of my head that is speaking to me and is taking up all my attention in there, so when I wrote Price of a Kiss, I accomplished my mission and got that story out of my head and onto paper. But now that it's gone from my head since I wrote it all out, it's been really hard to go back and try to put something IN my head and write that same story from Mason's point of view. I honestly thought it should've been one of the easiest stories to write since I know the plot already, but going back and making sure I have all the timing right and all the dialogue right is really challenging. Plus I want original stuff in this books too, except I'm a little boxed in on plot and really have to finagle things to give it its own flavor. Getting that one finished AND actually making it good enough for people to read and enjoy would be a huge accomplishment for me, so I am most excited as well as most nervous about that story!! Fingers crossed that I don't botch it completely. -- Sorry for the huge, long answer, but I hope I answered you good enough!!! Thanks so much for asking! Hugs, Linda
