General English question. Sometimes even when I do look up meanings, the definition is useless (as good as not looking it up). In Chp10, the music of Arius is described as 'lilting' which is 'rising and falling in a pleasant way'. I can't even YouTube what this sounds like. To regular readers, I want to ask you what comes to mind when you see 'lilting'? I know this is so subjective, hope you can help though!
