I just want to say thank you for writing a book set in Canada (I've just started reading Pestilence) I love love all the references and Canadian jokes, makes me laugh my butt off and feel pretty darn proud. Loving your book so far! I haven't even finished it yet but I can't wait for the next one in the series. My question is what made you want to set the book in Canada/ British Columbia to be exact?

Go Canada! Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm not sure why I chose Canada in particular. I wanted my main characters to be from all over the world (versus the four horsemen all coming to California, where I'm from ... though to be honest, considering how much trouble we Californians get into, it wouldn't be TOTALLY out of the question ... ;) and I think Canada felt like a good place to start! Hello! I just finished reading Pestilence. I'm loving the series so far and I've noticed the chapters don't tend to be too long compared to other books, which is something I love, the pacing just feels so good and books with shorter chapters are easier for me to read. I was wondering if the chapter length was something you had thought about or if that was just something that came as you wrote?
