Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Malcom Massey "The Lost Library of Alexandria" was inspired by the loss of one of the greatest treasures of ancient times. I wanted to explore what happened to the archives and objects from this great library, whose hands they had fallen into, under what circumstances.
Set against my main character's mission to keep antiquities out of the hands of looters and museums, "The Lost Library of Alexandria" explores what happens when the ancient knowledge gets into the wrong hands.
