Anyone feel like the ending turned out to be a dark twist on Matilda?

I'm honestly on the fence with how manipulative the girl was and when she started to be one, would have loved more snippets from everyday family life instead of the twitter feed. For example she seemed to have no issues with her father until she figured out that he has relations with a bunch of other women? I know the wife believed their relationship to be inappropriate, but I'm on the fence about that too and in the story she wrote clearly she hated her family, but that was also after her illusion of being a kidnapped princess was shattered. For me it seemed like absolutely everyone doted on her except Sharon who had 0 maternal feelings, and it made her feel better than others, even was very cruel herself with Leo. I don't know, I might just be naive or overcomplicating things, but I still don't know how much of the evidence was just lies, delusions or truth. Like the inappropriate videos on the phone of the father were clearly revenge by Jaimie and just a lucky red herring imo. It's clear though that the teacher was also extremely delusional, looking for a new daughter in the place of her dead one, I just can't decide if Daisy noticed this and found a way to use the situation, or the teacher noticed things and she approached her. Like just how much of a mastermind was Daisy and how much input was there from the teacher? And the people who say a 8-9 year old in not able to do things like this are wrong...there were real life cases where young kids got away with worse.
Also the fact that her new name is Sabrina is just eughh. It's a nice name but it just strengthens this princess delusion. I wonder what would happen if someone would burst the bubble of these two.
Poor Leo though, happy he got something better at the end. He did not deserve the treatment he got at all.(less)
