Upside comes next but it's more of a side story. It's about Abby's cousin and Abby and Simon do make an appearance. So it's helpful to read it first because it explains more of her backstory in a round-about way, but it's not directly in the same series.

Leah on the Offbeat comes after Simon versus the Homo sapiens Agenda technically. You don't need to read The Upside of Unrequited or you can read it after Leah, because it doesn't really affect the Creek gang.
But The Upside of Unrequited is set after Simon, and the main cast is connected to Abby, so you get to know more about her, and there's minor appearances of some characters from Simon.

I know you definitely need to read Simon before Leah because it spoils the end of Simon if you don't, I haven't read Upside, but from what I've heard about it there isn't much overlap in characters besides brief cameos, so I don't think it really matters.

The official order is 1) Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, 2) The Upside of Unrequited, and 3) Leah on the Offbeat. I would suggest reading them in this order because The Upside of Unrequited and Leah on the Offbeat include spoilers from Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, but Leah on the Offbeat has some minor appearances of characters from The Upside of Unrequited. You don't have to read The Upside of Unrequited before Leah on the Offbeat to understand it, but I would recommend it.

It doesn't matter what order you read them in; they are stand alone novels. Leah on the off-beat follows Simon verses the Homo sapien's agenda with the same characters, but The Upside of Unrequited is about Abby's cousin who doesn't have anything to do with the original plot. I reccomend Leah on the offbeat first.--but I LOVE The Upside of Unrequited.
