Hi Colleen, first off I want to say that I just finished Blood of Wonderland and I can't wait to see what is in store in the 3rd book. I was reading the acknowledgments at the end of the book and was wondering if you named any other characters after members of your family (other than Sir Gorran's horse) or if you got any inspiration for characters off people you know?

Colleen Oakes Great question! Dinah was very inspired by my own heart; I struggle with rage and anger, and I created her character to help me process those feelings in my own life. Other than that, most of the characters weren't inspired m=by family members. In terms of how they appear, I can tell you that Cheshire is inspired by Tom Hiddleston, and Sir Gorrann is inspired by Kevin Costner. Fortunately no one I know really appears in Queen of Hearts.
