My character and story ideas come from everything around me. A lot of inspiration comes from Mr. Hughes. A lot of the things going on in my books are based, in a small way, on something that happened to me and Mr. Hughes.
Inspiration strikes at the oddest times, which is why I always note a notebook or at least my note app handy where ever I am. Sometimes, I wake up in the middle of the night with a story idea or I'm standing in line for coffee and something hits me.
