Hi JL! Most of your couples seem to have quite an age difference. XD Is there any particular reason for it? Sorry if this question was already asked (couldn't find it though) but was wondering about this for a while XD.

I had to think about this one! But as I looked over the complete list of all my work--short stories to novels--it's about half and half. In the All's Fair series, Dangerous Ground, nearly all the short stories and novellas the age difference is negligent--four years or less. It might seem exaggerated given the difference in roles or levels of success, but even in Holmes & Moriarity where Christopher Holmes obsesses about the age difference, it's only five years. :-)
In fact, doing a rough count of works where the age difference is less than five years (and counting couples rather than individual books) it comes down to 26 couples with four or more years between them, and 38 couples with less than four years between them.
That said, back when I was a free agent, I did definitely prefer older men. ;-)

Hi, Josh With Fair Play coming out it reminded me of something I've wondered about before - was any particular reason you didn't write Fair Game in 1st person, since it's all in Elliot's POV? Do you ever think back and wish you had done it in first? Though it's great just as it is, I'm sure it would have been great in first too, since you're so good at creating a distinctive first person narrative voice.
