Bridgette
Bridgette asked Jack Heath:

I was wondering if you could possibly spare some advice for an aspiring author?

Jack Heath My advice, very belatedly, is this:

Write at every opportunity, even when you don't feel inspired and the writing doesn't feel very good. Only check your email or open a web browser once per day. (You can use an out-of-office reply to tell people what you're working on and to help them understand they won't get an immediate reply.)

Track your progress – word count if you’re writing, page count if you’re editing. Use this data to set realistic deadlines. Schedule leisure time so it doesn’t creep into your writing time and vice versa. Get plenty of sleep, even if that means napping during the day.

That's all I got! Happy writing.
