How do you get inspired to write?

Marilyn Fierro One day while returning from a tournament in Tennessee our group happened to stop at the same place as another Karate group who attended the same tournament. As we sat and waited for our dinner we began chatting and I started to speak about my experiences in Okinawa and Japan. At the end of the conversation, someone said to me "That's interesting, you should write a book". My answer was that I've been thinking about it and have a lot of notes. That day I decided it was time and began to sort the notes and work on my book.
