What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Davis Summerlin The fame...just kidding. There's a lot of good to choose from, but the satisfaction of seeing my name on a that finished product is pretty high on that list. I like to joke to my wife, saying that I'm a 'Z' list celebrity, but a couple weeks ago I walked into my wife's optometrist's office. When we walked in the doctor told me to wait while she ran to grab her copy of "If Only" for me to sign. Seeing people actually taking an interest in my work I think takes the cake.
