No, it isn't. Just finished reading it but it does concern some characters like Evangeline and Ptolemus after the events after War Storm. So to answer your question, yes, but no.

Yes and no, it is full of short stories and history of the Red Queen world. It doesn't exactly say Mare and Cal get a happily ever after ending, but you do get to see them talk it out, and through the history parts learn about what happens with them long term. Granted that doesn't give you the full story, but you do know what happens with them.

As far as I know, Broken Thorne is a collection of short stories, and not a sequel.
