Hi Grey. Well, I have to be honest and say I really don't know. It didn't come from anything I lived or observed in real life. It was pure imagination, straight from "the ether." I've observed that people will do very unusual things when under great pressure. So I put a lot of fictional pressure on my characters, and I'm usually surprised by what comes out. So glad you enjoyed it!

I would like to thank you for pay it forward. We are many teachers here in Sweden who show this movie to our pupils and have long discussions about many aspects in the film. Just finished Just After Midnight and found the character Faith fascinating. I would like to know how you came to write about her strength and courage after leaving a marriage what seemed in a very short time span? I still struggle with decisions I made years ago and working on being more like the character Faith was as she has inspiration me.
