asked:
1. What is the Griever hole? Why is it just sort of floating in the air? Are there more? 2. Why can Thomas and Teresa telepathically communicate with each other? Is it ever explained? Was the ability given to them or do they have it naturally? Were there ever others with that ability? 3. Why did two teenagers help design the maze? Why were Thomas and Teresa even allowed to do that?

The griever hole is a hole under fog on the cliff, that is supposedly where the grievers come from, which is how it got the name. WCKD sent everyone into the maze and put .. chips? in Thomas and Teresa's head so they would be able to talk telepathically since (SPOILER) Teresa wasn't (didn't) supposed to get her memories removed. And since Thomas and Teresa were immune, like many others, they stood out to WCKD because they seemed more intelligent than the others.
