I've had to learn to break through a few writer's block. I've found the best trick for me is to skip the troublesome scene entirely and jump ahead to a scene that I can see much clearer in my head. Often I'll get snippets of dialog and I'll capture it and work on that scene and then I go back and bridge the gap between the scenes. This trick has helped me more than once. :)
