Lexi Blake Hi, Denise. First off I'm so sorry for how long it took me to reply. I didn't get a notification that I had questions to answer until a few days ago. As for Thieves - it's written in classic urban fantasy. It was never meant to be a romance - though it certainly has romance at the heart of it. Zoey is the main character. That's kind of the point in my mind. You have to take the journey with Zoey, put yourself in her place and she can't know more than what she knows. I'm sorry you feel robbed. I didn't mean to make anyone feel like that.
