Brandi Kutz
Brandi Kutz asked:

Why is Beast's name Sebastian when Disney has pretty much accepted his name to be Adam? And Sebastian was the crab with Ariel...I'm both agitated and confused.

Korah They all have different names from Disney (unless they had a name in the original fairytale i.e. Cinderella) in order to avoid copyright infringement.
Gilly 2 Yes, it is a thing that the Disney's Beast is named Adam, but this series is based on the original stories of these characters! The unnamed characters from the original tales have completely original names. That would be why the wicked stepmother is named Flora rather than Lady Tremaine (and her daughters as Azalea and Dahlia rather than Anastasia and Drizella), the Evil Queen is Harlow instead of Queen Grimhilde, the sea siren is Cleo rather than Ursula, Beauty is- well- Beauty rather than Belle, and so on!
Doris The names are confusing because they don't match Disney, which is fine, but they also often don't match the original name either. Ah well no problems except when the characters within the stories switch names.
Sadie Haren That annoyed me to, but I guess Jen Calonita wanted to put her own twist on things and not use copyright?... That's a really good question, Brandi.
