Hi! A Dog's Purpose is one of my most favorite books of all time! I even got my mom to read it and she loved it (and she isn't really a dog person!) So, I love dogs, and I love my best friend Oreo so much. He passed away in January, and I still am having a very hard time. He was the best dog ever, the best friend ever, and my buddy!!! I wondered do you had any suggestions for dealing with the grieving process?

Oh Jami, I am so sorry to hear about Oreo. This is so, so hard. I am hoping my book can give you some comfort. I really do believe we will see our best friends again someday.

I read A Dog's Purpose the summer before we had to put our 14-year-old Basset-Shepherd mix Bessie to sleep on September 16, 2010. That summer I knew the time was coming and your book helped prepare and comfort me. I also loved The Dog Master. I can imagine a young human falling in love with and adopting a wolf puppy! How can we encourage your publisher to let you write a sequel?
