Why do Indian authors mostly write about love? Are they trying to turn their books into movies? Amish has brought a new type of genre in the limelight for Indian authors . Do u think you will write in that genre?

Preeti Shenoy My books are definitely about much MORE than love. Each of my books, addresses a specific thing--whether it is marital rape (secret wishlist) or Bipolar disorder (Life is what you make it) or geriatric care (A hundred little flames)--they are deal with very serious issues.
Why do Indian authors write about love---I don't know! Maybe it's because they think there's a demand for such books?
Amish writes on Mythology and it is a genre that does not interest me at all--as it is retelling a story which already exists since centuries..
Hence I won't be writing mythology.
