Kasie West Hello! Let me try to tackle your questions here. So, all of my books are set in the U.S. because that is where I'm from and that is what I know the best. I really haven't traveled outside the U.S. that much to where I feel confident basing a book elsewhere. The car on the cover of The Fill-In Boyfriend is mainly because it's a stock photo so we really didn't have a choice. Ha. But, there is a really fun scene that takes place in and around a car in the book so I thought it actually fit. There isn't always sunshine on my books, just a few of them, it was a branding choice. Yes, all my books have mostly happy endings. I'm a sucker for an HEA. I do not have any plans to write a thriller. I don't think I ever describe a male love interest as having abs, but maybe I have? All of my books are in female perspective because again, it's what I know and feels more authentic to me to write what I know well. But I'd try a male perspective if I think of a story that fits that POV better.
