Shelby Friendshuh I want to say no! But that's only because for some reason I keep shipping Inan and Zelie even though he did her so wrong! I just have this feeling that they have unfinished business- not necessarily romantic. Ugh! I can't wait to find out
PeaAndBooks Though I want him to survive so Zélie can beat him black and blue for what he has done, I think his life 'might' be over. In the epilogue the line 'After all that. After Inan. After Baba.' If he survived, he will make a good antagonist.
Kraig He does not get decapitated by his father thanks to the intervention of another character, but Inan is described as having a "gushing" wound that was made with a majacite sword, so he certainly COULD BE dead. That's one of many issues left frustratingly unresolved at this end of this irritating book.
Leeann He's not going to be dead.
No way.
I DO think that he will present a problem in the next book. King Saran is dead - so we will still need an antagonist.
Alexis I don't think he died! But there was no mention of him in book 2's plot, so idk what happened to him :o
Mahri No, he doesn't die.

Phantompickles It could go either way honestly. Adeyemi has certainly shown a willingness to kill characters, but whether that extends to POV characters remains to be seen. The cynic in me thinks "well she assigned Zélie her love interest so of course he won't die" lol. She did make a point of having Amari intervene before the killing blow was delivered so I'm leaning more towards the "alive" side.
brianna (borahae version) I hope he’s not because of the fact that he’s suCh a good, complex antagonist but he was awfully injured. Maybe Amari will turn out to be a healer but who knows.
