Does anyone know what happened to Randy? Mary Sue was talking to Charlie and mentioned Randy's broken arm and spending time in the ER with her. I don't recall it being a part of the story line. I'm listening to the audio version of this book and have gone back a good bit to listen to it again to see if I missed it, but couldn't find it. Did I miss it, or is it possible it was edited out of the audio version?

In the book, Charlie texts Mary Sue and she responds with something like "just left the er" and when she talks to him later, she tells him that Randi broke her arm. I think it's a little drastic for the author to break a character's arm just to explain why her friend didn't answer her cell phone right away. Some of us simply don't have our cell phone in our hand every single minute 24/7. Does Charlie go to the toilet no hands? (less)
