I am currently working on the original English version of my first book, Small Plots; Stories of a Half Gardener in Italy, published in Italian in September of 2017 by Officina Naturalis Editore as "Mezzo Giardiniere." It probably doesn't often happen that a book is written in English, translated into Italian, and then edited and published in Italian while the rough draft in the original language sits around for months while the author picks it apart and tries to clean it up, but that's what I'm doing at the moment. I also am collaborating with the London-based painter David Hollington to combine my words with his illustrations. The text and images should be ready to propose to publishers by September of 2018.
