Any suggestions for someone who would like to write a book? What are the first steps? Also, for would-be writers, I have heard about the importance of reading, a lot. I assume this means reading a lot from many genres in order to get exposed to different writing styles? Does that include reading books about writing? Thank you.

The first step to writing a book is to have an idea for a story. Then you need to plan it out and make sure that you have a good plot. It's important to read but not necessarily books about writing. You can get plenty of information about writing on the internet rather than read a whole book.

I'm reading "Behind closed doors" right now at Dublin. I was looking for something to read and I borrowed this book from an acquaintance. I have to finish it yet, but I'm almost done. To quote the Nostalgia Critic, I consider your novel "hauntingly haunting", but also addictive. It's a very detailed story, but it's never said too much. What else can I add? Thank you so much.

First I want to say I read the reviews long before the book was available in the US. I then had to order it from the UK! I loved the book and passed it on to a group of friends who also loved the book! It will make a great movie! My question is...are you working on another book? Please say YES! Thanks again
