I'm slightly confused by the ending. The bail bondsman tells Ree that she is entitled to most of the bond money and that the person who laid it down will not be coming back for it. Is the implication that Ree's father killed himself and left the money or was there another benefactor? I've reread the final exchange with the bondsman a few times but still can't make it out.
