Virginia Garrett
Virginia Garrett asked Jameson Parker:

What book are you reading now and what books are in your to-read stack?

Jameson Parker You'll be sorry you asked.
I'm doing a comparative read of the Arthurian legends, comparing "The Boy's King Arthur" (Sidney Lanier), "The Acts of King Arthur and His Noble Knights" (John Steinbeck) "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" (a translation by poet Simon Armitage of an extremely rare manuscript by an unknown author, written around 1400) against the original "Le Morte d'Arthur" (Sir John Rhys' translation of Sir Thomas Malory's lengthy version written around 1450), and cross-checking certain passages against a non-fiction book called "The Realms of Arthur" by Helen Hill Miller. Why, I hear you cry. Uh, well, um, I'm not sure. I started to read one ("The Boy's King Arthur") and sort of got carried away. When I'm done, I have a slew of non-fiction (mostly history) in my to-read list, to be followed (unless I get sidetracked, which has been known to happen) by "Howards End," by E.M. Forster.
I told you you'd regret asking.
