Kawaii Potato
Kawaii Potato asked Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch:

Why did you write the book, Making Bombs for Hitler? What persuasion did you have to write that book? What idea made you think I should write that book?

Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch Dear Harshu,
I have written a lot of books, and one thing almost all have in common is they're about something in history that was big, but no one seems to know about it. What happened to Lida in Making Bombs happened to millions of Ukrainians and Polish people in WWII.

Over the years I met face to face many elderly people who when they were kids, had been captured by the Nazis and forced to be slaves just like Lida. I feel that it's good for people now to know what happened in the past because we can learn from it. One thing I hope readers learn from reading Making Bombs for Hitler is that everyone should be treated equally, and also that we should be thankful for what we have -- find beauty everywhere.
