Who's your favourite author?

Heather Grace Stewart Hi Judy! I'm so sorry I took a while to see this question and answer it - I've been rather busy writing my fourth novel! It's difficult for me to pick one favourite author. I read in many genres, and have a few favourites. I also read screenplays and have favourite screenwriters. I love everything by novelists Sue Monk Kidd, Helen Fielding, Diana Gabaldon, Jo Jo Moyes, Jennifer Weiner, Nicholas Sparks, Sophie Kinsella; books by physicist Michio Kaku, and the works of screenwriters Richard Curtis, Nancy Meyers, Nora Ephron, Aaron Sorkin and Zach Helm (Stranger Than Fiction). My favourite book growing up was The Neverending Story.

How is it that Remarkably Great (#2) has a publication date that is a year earlier than Strangely, Incredibly Good (#1)? I mean, I've heard of new series beginning as a prequel like in Star Wars, but how does #2 in the same series come out before #1?
