How do you get inspired to write?

Daniel Linden It isn't so much inspiration as exhalation. I have to write, no choice, and stories come to me so often I have to keep a file of ideas or I lose them. I also have a file of unfinished Aikido Mysteries with a dozen books that either got away from me or left me dangling. No problem, sometimes late at night I remember one and the double zeros pop up and I'm off again. You don't write with a capitol W, you are a writer and it is simply what you do.
