I have always written stories about talking animals but it was when I met a group of Italian greyhounds and their owners that I had the idea for Planet Iggy (my debut novel).
These little dogs have inspired me, they have such character and attitude and my own big gentle giant of a dog Brutus, has virtually grown up with the Iggies and has had many an adventure with them. That is how Planet Iggy was born.
