Okay, I got several questions, but I'm just gonna ask two. How do you make your books so dang great? I'm legitimately hooked on the Gone series, though currently I am on Fear. The series is just amazing and I love how you write the stories as some chapters are the times, and then one chapter will be named Pete. How do you keep track of that? Though, to be honest, I really love how you do that.

Michael Grant Doing the 'countdown', the time codes, was the single hardest thing about writing the GONE series. See, I wasn't keeping track as I wrote, so I had to come back afterward and make adjustments so that things worked in the timeline. This required math at which I am not great.
