Abi asked Lauren Rowe:

What order would you recommend I read your books in for the full experience without spoilers for the others? I know they say they are mostly standalones (i.e. Ball Peen Hammer) but there is also the Club series. I'd just like to know the order. Thanks!

Lauren Rowe Hello! Thank you for asking. Well, the Morgan Brother books are defintely standalones, I promise. BUT as far as chronology of the stories, then you'd want to read HERO, CAPTAIN, and then BALL PEEN HAMMER. If you were to read them in a different order, that would be just fine, though. The Club series happens BEFORE all of these books. You would start with book 1 (The Club) and go through to book 7 The Consummation, in order. HOWEVER, the caveat is that book 4 (The Culmination) is not in chronological order, on purpose. The storytelling device I used there is like Star Wars kind of. Like how the first Star Wars movies released in the 70s happen AFTER the next three that came much later? I did that because in my mind it is sometimes fun to see where characters wind up and then get to see HOW they got there and go "Aha!" over and over again. But if that idea is not one that excites you, then leave book 4 to the end of The Club series. I won't be offended. So, in summary, you can read any Morgan Brother book and THEN move on to The Club series and get the back story. OR you can read me literally in chronological order, if you prefer by reading as follows: The Club 1-3, 5-7, HERO, CAPTAIN, BALL PEEN HAMMER, The Club 4. That is honestly the chron order but I want to say very fervently that you can read the Morgans first OR The Club first and you can enjoy them in either way. I promise. xo
