Are we ever going to get resolution to the setup for the first book? From what I've read you are pretty set against using time travel to hand wave problems away. I'm just really curious why Eric never thinks about the fact that it seems highly likely he reincarnated? Or who created firebrand if Eric didn't? I guess the real question is are we going to get a prequel?
Garon Whited
Well, yes, actually. Of course, most of this is told from Eric's point of view, so there may be some questions left unanswered--he may never find out *everything*. But [redacted for spoiler content] the process of making Firebrand [redacted for spoiler content] when Sasha finally [redacted for spoiler content] took control in the Pyrenees Mountains [redacted for spoiler content] leading to the inevitable [redacted for spoiler content].
Who says Eric never gets a lucky break?
But I'm writing constantly and we should see all this--or most of it--in the main arc of the series!

Will we ever get to see Halar make a vampire? I don't really count the blood queen because she lived most of her life off screen as a demon possessed corpse. I would like to see how much of Halar's powers are because he is a vampire and how much are because he is Halar the undying, first emperor of Carvalen, the lord of shadow. I mean, it is not as if what Halar is is typical of a nightlord from his world right?

It’s a new year with new hope. And a new question - in book three, The Orb, there is that guy, Balaur, who turns into the bats and flies away - since Eric has gone back in time and is developing his super new spy scrying spells that let him peek in on universes without being noticed, is he going to watch Balaur fly away and find out where he went, who he was, and why he has that power?
