Once upon a time I believed no book character would ever be good enough for the pedestal of perfection I reserve for Will Kager.. And then I met Steffen Finch and he, too, grabbed a chunk of my heart. Despite the ridiculous number of times I've already read the Venery books (especially A Charm of Finches) I must know.. Will there be audiobook versions released for the Venery series the way there were for Fishtales?!

Oh thank you so much, I adore Stef to pieces. Can you imagine if he and Will met? As Val Lark would say, there would be nothing left but a smoking pile of ash with some rings resting on top.
Fun little story: my editor was horrified at the chapter when Stef and Jav are making out in Stef's office. She commented in the margin, "I'm having a hard time with this. It's just a really, really, almost unbelievably stupid thing for Stef to do." And I replied, "I know, that's the point. He has to do something stupid in this book, otherwise he's too damn perfect!"
As for the audiobook version, alas, it's not for lack of trying to get a deal, but no offers so far. I write big books (and I cannot lie), which means many hours of recording and editing. Big investment. Much expensive. And I don't have the cash flow to produce it myself at the moment. Boo.

Suanne, this is more of a comment. When you liked my Goodreads review of The Clarinet Polka, I went back to look at it. Good thing - I had forgotten about author Keith Maillard & plans to read more by him. Then, I discovered you are an author. So another good connection. I will put your book on my list to read. Maybe you'd like to read the memoir my sister and I published - Under Minnesota Skies?

Hi Suanne, I just finished the third book of Man I Love and I feel sad the series end. I savored each page and reread some pages, aligning Erik's, Daisy's, Will's and David's stories. Love is not the right word to describe of how I feel about these books. Thank you for writing about these epic loves. I have question: did Daisy undergo second IVF? Thank you.
